VP – Portfolio Manager (Private Bank) recruitment
Job Responsibilities:
- Service and develop existing client relationships by providing high quality investment advice to clients through a combination of practical application of technical knowledge, incorporation of bank's best advice and incorporation of client investment guidelines through a structured investment approach.
- Work with private bankers and investment consultants to manage and develop new client relationships.
- Suggest new product ideas to regional investment committee and participate in new product development projects as appropriate.
- Adhere to bank policies and procedures thereby protecting the business from financial and reputational risk.
Job Requirements:
- University Degree, preferably in Economics, Business or Finance.
- Studying for or holding relevant professional qualifications (CFA/MBA), and achieving full accreditation.
- Minimum 5 years relevant investment experience working within a private bank.
- Multi-asset class and asset allocation experience are mandatory.
- Knowledge of all local regulatory policies and guidelines.
- Knowledge of relevant financials markets and instruments.
- Appropriate local regulatory qualification.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English is required.
