VP Risk Management
This leasing company is organically expanding their operations. They are now seeking a credit risk analyst to join their team in Dublin.
The purpose of this role is to review and analyse new and existing aircraft lease transactions with airline customers in the region. You will be required to determine the potential risks to the business by applying detailed financial analysis and the company’s internal credit risk grading matrix.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the credit/risk assessment of airline customers.
- Credit reviews and credit ratings for existing accounts
- Perform in-depth research and prepare customer profile on new customers
- Incorporate asset, political and airline operational risk as part of the review.
- Prepare write-ups on new transactions and present recommendations to the company credit committee
- Provide quarterly reporting on the existing customer base.
- Work directly with the customers to secure the required information for new deal analysis, ongoing monitoring and restructuring of deals
- Provide a general risk analysis incorporating the airline business model, competitor analysis, asset analysis etc..
Essential:
- Approx 5 plus years experience working in an aircraft leasing / aviation finance organization
- Graduate or post-graduate qualification in business studies/accounting or related discipline
- Detailed knowledge of credit assessment techniques
- Knowledge and passion for the aerospace industry
