VP Sales to Corporates & Financial Institutions, EMEA recruitment
Main responsibilities
Based in London, reporting to the Head of FX FIC EMEA Sales, the incumbent is responsible for:-
- Optimizing the wallet with Corporates FIs across Turkey for FX primarily and Interest Rates as well
- To develop SG franchise on deliverable non deliverable FX products FX/IR derivative instruments
- Achieve satisfactory P/L targets
- Foster business continuity for customer activity across global FX businesses
- Develop trade idea generation market intelligence
- Joint marketing calls with globally placed colleagues
- Develop and maintain external marketing of all FX products ( deliverable non deliverable )
- Monitor/manage relevant FX order books for customer activities
- Promote e-commerce
- Marketing trips and publications as required
- Cross asset marketing and introduction where applicable
- Work with traders to develop symbiotic relationships
- Work with SG Istanbul Relationship Managers Senior Bankers
Degree of autonomy
Work independently on individual budget, to market assigned customers and back up colleagues where required
Internal and/or external contacts
- Trading: Develop external contacts to benefit in information flow on the desk. Internally work with other FX traders to facilitate profitable risk client management.
- Sales would be required to develop dialogue with other sales in FX hubs to facilitate information sharing an communication on customer and market activity
- SG Istanbul: Country Head, Senior Bankers, Relationship Managers
Specific context of the position (environment, special features, etc.)
- Knowledge of SG’s customer activity proprietary technology
Requirement (Qualification/ Years of Experience/ Skill / Knowledge)
- 2 to 5 years experience in FX Interest rates marketing and sales - Mandatory
- Turkish English speaking- Mandatory
- Strong product knowledge in the key variables of FX spot, FX forward FX option NDF, NDO
- Strong communication and personal skills, ability to work independently
- Ability to work with traders
- Able, dependable and reliable team member
- Able to work and think clearly under pressure
- Faith to voice and able to develop, independent thinking
- Understanding of economic political principles / emerging markets / inter-reaction of global markets
