VP / Senior level Credit Sales
My client are looking to add a VP/ Senior credit sales person in London. The ideal candidate will have around 5years experience (more senior profiles welcome also) in the financial markets with a particular focus on credit. The candidate will have good calls in to institutional client bases across the UK / Europe. The candidate will have either:
- 5+yrs on a credit bonds / cds sales desk or similar OR
- 5+yrs on a ccredit bonds / cds trading desk or similar, with good calls in to the UK / European buy side community
Responsibilities for:
- Work closely with the Head of Desk to develop and execute the sales strategy
- Build, develop and maintain relationships with UK / European institutional accounts
- Maintain and develop relationships with clients
- Take orders and execute on behalf of clients
- Improve levels of business passing through desk, improving profitability
- Advise clients and provide them with trade ideas
Skills / Attributes required for:
- Approx 5 years (or more) industry experience within the credit space
- Proven ability to speak with clients in the UK / Europe and preferably good contacts in this space
- Very good knowledge in the credit bonds / cds product space
- Must be results-focused, committed to achieving high standards, effective communicator, team-player
