Produced each quarter and released to only a select number of clients, these exclusive reports are a unique and powerful tool for monitoring trends, understanding risks and spotting opportunities.
As such, we are currently looking to recruit an ambitious and driven sales person to help us seize this opportunity by growing our client base and developing our business, predominantly in Europe and the US.
This role will be based in our London office, but will require occasional travel to our other office locations in New York, Shanghai, Hong Kong and New Delhi, taking responsibility for:
- Prospecting new clients and managing a pipeline of new accounts;
- Meeting with clients to discuss product offering and consequently negotiating commercial terms;
- Understanding the stories behind individual securities and pitching the value proposition to relevant clients; and
- Developing close relationships with sophisticated clients to help refine and develop intelligence report ideas.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record in selling to institutional investors and experience in closing deals, preferably with an extensive list of existing buy-side relationships. The main part of the role will consist of driving new relationships with buy-side firms.
To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Have a good understanding of financial markets, alternative investments and the public equity investment process;
- Have a demonstrable ability to generate and follow up on leads effectively with excellent networking skills and experience of negotiating commercial terms;
- Have a strong entrepreneurial drive and desire to develop and build out a new product offering to prospective clients; and
- Be a results driven team player who is able to effectively manage time whilst keeping a positive and “can-do” attitude.
