VP to SVP hands-on C++ Developer (Risk Technology) recruitment
Our client is a leading global financial institution. The role will suit experienced individuals who are strong with C++ development and keen to deliver critical risk solutions technology.
Responsibilities:
- Act as an individual contributor playing an active role in developing in a C++/unix, STL, Boost, threading, grid computing engine
- To be proficient with all functional areas of the risk platform for development efforts
- To works closely with both the quantitative analytics, traders and business-aligned IT departments across asset classes
- To be able to support and mentor junior members and generally be a role model within the team
Requirements of the role:
- +10 years experience of C++/linux, unix development, STL, Boost, multithreading, grid computing, delegates and collections
- Strong experience with using design patterns in the past implementations, messaging middleware concepts, usage and application
- Strong understanding of credit risk measures i.e. PFE, CVA, EEPE, etc
- Good experience with distributed architecture (caching, topologies, etc) and able to demonstrate strong understanding of latency, concurrency, reconciliation etc.
- Strong credit risk or derivative experience
- Possess a good educational certification in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or related Math's or other analytical degree
