PRIMARY:
This position serves as the primary point person communicating customer order prioritization to manufacturing team. The warehouse coordinator will be responsible for shipping, receiving, processing returns and creating work orders. This position can effectively communicate the needs of the customer to the manufacturing team.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
This position reports to the Operations Lead and General Manager Vice President.
HUMAN RELATIONS:
This position interfaces with Customers, Distributors, Manufacturer Representatives, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Executive Staff and Suppliers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for shipping and receiving orders.
- Ensure that returns are processed in a timely manner and according to policy.
- Work with Customer Service, Account Specialist and Sales to prioritize orders for manufacturing.
- Open and close work orders as necessary in order to meet customer delivery deadlines.
- Communicate abnormal spikes in demand to Purchasing to ensure that stock outs do not occur.
- Be the subject matter expert for all Operation Shopworx programs. Provide training to new employees as needed.
- Serves as the primary contact for Customer Service Reps and Account Specialists for expedited orders.
- Perform duties within the Textron Business Conduct Guidelines.
- Recommend process innovations /improvements and execute Operations Lead and General Manager VP approval.
- Provide monthly Operations metrics updates.
- Travel possible – on an as needed basis.
KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma required, 2 year or more college degree desired. Proficient computers skills required and good communication skills. Must have a good understanding of customer needs (external and internal) and articulate those needs to manufacturing. Must have good decision making skills. Must be able to remain calm in a fast paced environment. Strong computer skills are necessary to deal with daily responsibilities. Must be capable of handling multiple, concurrent tasks with accuracy while giving close attention to detail.

The individual must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively and professionally with all levels within the organization as well as people outside the organization.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires moderate physical effort working in a warehouse environment. The incumbent must have the ability to:
- Lift objects weighing up to fifteen (15) pounds from floor to bench height;
- Push or pull loaded hand trucks;
- Carry objects;
- Perform dynamic activities including frequent bending and twisting of the torso, reaching and stretching into skids, use of pinch grips with fingers, use of power grip with hand, radial/ulnar deviation and fexion/extension of the wrist, climb onto and off of a fork lift, and extended periods of walking;
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
This individual prepares and analyzes figures and data through such means as computers, reading, listening, and talking. Performs complex tasks requiring independent knowledge, in addition to procedures and instructions provided.
