Job Title: Warehouse Manager (Electrical Contractor)
Job Summary: Is responsible for planning, organizing and controlling of a warehouse's overall operations; organizes activities assigns jobs accordingly to the staff. Also has to manage stock control, the receipt, storage, retrieval and ensure the timely delivery of goods. Also has to supervise shipment loading transferring and keep records of documents by entering data into the system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Has to plan out all warehouse resources and activities in keeping with the company's objectives and goals. Develop budgets and analyze financial reports for Warehouse. Makes plans for the development of the staff by organizing training sessions. Has to ensure that all the health and safety requirements are met and also has to take responsibility for the security of the building and inventory. Has to find and implement cost reduction measures in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities. Has to suggest measures of improvement and development of the warehouse. Must motivate staff to make an effective and efficient team. Has to negotiate pricing with various vendors for goods, services and rental equipment. Maintain and issue inventory reports. Work with Safety Director to ensure DOT Compliance Requirements.
Qualifications: Five years of managerial experience. Must be organized and systematic. Must have good leadership skills and ability to motivate others. Experience using Accounting/Purchasing software. Knowledge of DOT Regulations. Proficient in relevant software applications. Monitor staff performance including performance reviews. Local resident preferred. Judgement, decision making, information management, planning organizing. Problem analysis and problem solving.
