AVAILABLE HOURS AND DAYS OF THE WEEK: 8-5 Monday through Friday with an hour lunch 6am-6:30pm Saturday and Sunday 5pm-11pm Monday through Thursday. It is almost like making your own schedule! The company is offering 3 different opportunities: Hand Scanner: Hand Scanner will work with a hand scanner (similar to those found in grocery store/retail ops) to scan bar codes on the back of magazines. Candidate will stand throughout most of the shift. Light data entry or monitoring of data scanned on monitor. Lifting up to 25 lbs-infrequently Attributes: Ability to perform repetitive tasks, stand on feet, and work in a fast paced environment Breakdown : Breakdown operators will be responsible for moving materials from one area of warehouse to another. Stacking of totes, lift up to 45-50 lbs regularly throughout shift. Verify accuracy of paperwork, Ability to count accurately. Attributes: Physical position, must be able to work on feet, bend, reach, pull, and twist throughout shift. Work in fast paced environment Conveyor Scanner: Work in collaboration with Breakdown Operators. Will receive "totes" on end of conveyor line. Candidate will review packing slip, scan document, review data once scanned on monitor to ensure accuracy. Open totes, remove magazines, place individual magazines on vertical conveyor belt. Watch belt to ensure magazines are not "bunching up," remove empty tote from horizontal conveyor belt and continue with processing of magazine returns. Attributes: Extremely fast paced environment. Associates process up to 4500 magazines in 8 hour shift. We describe the role to candidates as one that requires them to "find a rhythm- similar to dancing."
