Air Cruisers Company (ACC), a business unit of Zodiac Aerospace, is the leading designer and manufacturer of inflatable safety products. Recent contract wins for next generation commercial and military aircraft have provided us an opportunity for growth.

ACC seeks a degreed Warehouse Production Manager for coordination and ongoing development of the processes related to supporting a manufacturing operation.

 

Job Summary:

Plan, direct, and supervise all operations performed in the stockroom, shipping, receiving and the cement shed in a manner that will ensure optimum productivity.

 

Responsibilities

1.      Organize all activities and assign jobs accordingly for the staff within the warehouse on a 2 shift operation.

2.      Responsible for daily warehouse compliance metrics:

a)      Customer orders

b)      Distribution orders

c)      Receipts

d)     Put aways

3.      Ensure daily cycle counts are completed and attain a 98% accuracy.

4.      Perform and document scheduled GEMBA walks.

5.      Take actions on slow moving inventory

6.      Ensures consolidations are completed monthly.

7.      Knowledgeable with ERP systems and transactions.

8.      Apply 5S principles within area of responsibilities.

9.      Provide training and development to ensure the proper placement of department personnel so that all positions          are filled by individuals qualified to meet the requirements of their respective assignments.

10.  Overall improvement and development of warehouse activities.

11.  Review all applicable audit reports on a weekly/monthly basis in order to reconcile any delinquent or discrepant information.

12.  Ensures all products are shipped in accordance with all IATA, DOT, CFR… requirements.

13.  Investigate and provide support to other Air Cruisers facilities related to inventory discrepancies as needed.

 

Requirements

 

  1. Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulation.
  2. Good PC skills in word and excel.
  3. Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  4. Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record.
  5. IATA certification a plus and pass ATF explosives policy screening.

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 

Four-year college degree or technical school; or at least 7 years related managerial experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
