Warehouse Project Support
U.S. Steel Tubular Products plant in Lone Star, Texas, is seeking a Part-time employee to establish a departmental warehouse utilizing Oracle.
Roles Responsibilities
Includes the following duties:
• Responsible for maintaining parts inventory, obtain and issue parts for work.
• Warehouse Keeper issues parts to the Work Order; ensure parts are available for work.
• Building an equipment tree by identifying parts and relating them to equipment
• Inventory consultation
• Managing and creating stock numbers
• Setting up line side spares
• Setting ups storage areas
• Maintains a professional relationship with employees in the area to where safety, environmental, and production aspects are not compromised.
• Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
• Manages activities to meet departmental requirements and coordinates efforts with other areas/departments.
Minimum qualifications for the role
• High School Diploma/GED
Desired qualifications for the role
• Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with U.S. Steel or subsidiary
