Wealth Management Assistant (Analyst / Associate Level)
Role
The candidate should have significant and relevant experience gained in either a private banking, wealth or asset management environment.
The key responsibilities are:
- Daily interaction and troubleshooting with high profile clients (primary liaison)
- Handling day-to-day correspondence with clients and their representatives
- Cash management and FX exposure analysis
- Management of trade-entry and trade-booking process of all products
- Management of trade settlement and reconciliation process
- Responsibility for making wire payments and receipts, journals and other non-trade related deliveries.
- Overview of client reporting and web capabilities
- Management of account opening and maintenance
- Generating client update presentations and pitch-books
- General administrative tasks such as scheduling, organising travel arrangements, conference call planning, documentation, expenses processing
- Implementation of internal and external directives and guidelines in daily business transactions.
Upon regulatory approval:
- Execution of agency trades: cash equities, fixed income, FX, structured products, options, mutual and hedge funds
- Under supervision of advisers and relationship managers be involved in: conducting portfolio reviews, re-evaluating the structure and the composition on investment portfolios; establishing client risk profiles; evaluating asset allocation models; analysing performance

Person Specification
The following skills and experience are required for this role:
Mandatory:
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject (Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business, etc)
- Fluency in English and Spanish (first preference) or Portuguese (second preference)
- CF30 license or completed suitable exams (IMC, CISI etc) in order to qualify
- Competent in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (minimum intermediate level)
- Previous front office or sales related experience in a financial or investment services firm
- Interest in the financial markets and demonstrate good investment sense /commercial instinct.
Preferential:
- Experience trading cash equities, fixed income, FX, structured products, options, mutual and hedge funds
- Experience in a HNW/UHNW client base environment
- Competency in Bloomberg platform
