Wealth Planning Business Manager recruitment
The Wealth Planning Business Manager is expected to provide direct support to the Head of WP in the implementation of their role, working together as a sounding board on new projects, ideas, business improvement and risk related initiatives.
The roleholder will often be responsible for the leadership and management of Wealth Planning projects in line with quality standards and budgets, including the communication and training activities associated with the project.
In addition, he/she will take on Risk Management responsibilities for the Wealth Planning function, executing requirements under the UBS Operational Risk Framework 2, such as Self-Certification, KRIs reporting, Control Plans reporting and Transaction Processing Risk (TPR) reporting, on a timely basis, aligned to relevant IPS APAC/Global reporting timeline and requirements. The Business Manager will also be expected to actively support local IPS and Regional APAC risk initiatives and push through all risk mandates and reviews in an effective manner.
The role also requires the Business Manager to serve as the main communication contact point between Wealth Planning and its internal and external stakeholders, representing and championing Wealth Planning needs and requirements on bank-wide initiatives and building awareness of Wealth Planning as a centre of excellence and client oriented service delivery.

This candidate seeks continuous improvements to quality and efficiency with the following profile:
- Bachelors in Finance or Business Administration
- Project management experience, track record of delivery, ability to manage multiple projects and communicate with partners to keep projects on track.
- Strong analytical/conceptual skills, planning/organizational skills and structured work approach
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strategic and business analysis skills
- Excellent communication (internal and external clients) and relationship building skills or previous experience in such a role (verbal and written) are essential
- Experience with working and supporting senior management
