Web Analyst
We are at an exciting stage of maturity and are now looking for a Web Analyst to join our London office.
Azimo offers our services in 11 global languages and are currently open for business in UK, Germany, France, Spain, Ireland, Austria to name a few. Reporting to the Head of BI you will focus on leveraging data to generate usable insights that identify areas of opportunity for new user growth, user engagement, product improvements, and business operations.
In addition to working closely with particularly the Marketing and Product teams you must have the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, small but growing environment and work proactively with various teams across the organisation, including product, IT, business development, customer support, and finance. You must have experience in identifying and setting up your own sources of data and information.
Main Responsibilities
- Marketing effectiveness, web analytics, and product actionable insights reporting in a recurrent and ad hoc basis.
- Identify, develop and improve methods for measuring advertising effectiveness including Reach and Frequency, Brand Resonance, ROI, and Conversion Lift across channels, devices and media formats.
- Identify, develop and improve methods for measuring product and customer experience effectiveness.
- Support Marketing and other business managers in terms of the best practices and methodologies to evaluate optimisation and other testing initiatives.
- CRM data management support, including data manipulation, segmentation, single view customer database, cluster analysis, and results review.
- Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to uncover unique actionable insights about people, events and media.
- Deliver insights and recommendations clearly to relevant audiences.
- Ensure that data is consistent, valid, relevant and significant.
- Identification of new and valuable sources and tools for data and information analysis to improve current analytics capabilities.
Main requirements
- Degree in a quantitative subject such as Mathematics, Economics or other area with strong focus on applied statistics.
- Hands on experience in setting up, and implementing web and data analytics tools. Mainly (but not exclusively) Google Analytics.
- Be familiar with web tracking and tagging techniques.
- Experience in analytical and statistical techniques, cluster analysis, profiling and regression analysis.
- Ability to communicate complex analysis and results to audiences with varying levels of technical sophistication.
- Strong sense of ownership, a can-do attitude, and zero-defect attention to detail.
- Curious self-starter who is committed to identifying and solving difficult problems autonomously.
- Expert at Excel.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 2 years experience in a digital/ecommerce business or agency.
- Fluent in English (fluency in one or more other major European language would be considered as plus)
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Willing to travel to mainland Europe sporadically.
