The Business
The Commonwealth Bank's CommSec Division provides retail and wholesale client's access to online broking and investment products, as well as third party investment propositions and geared solutions through its two businesses: CommSec, Australia's leading online broker and CommSec Adviser Services, Australia's leading wholesale online trading and adviser services provider.
The Team
The Analyst works as part of the Customer Analytics Insights team within the broader Customer Experience team. The purpose of this team is to deliver analytical analysis and solutions to improve decision making within CommSec.
The Role
The Analyst will be accountable for the end-to-end configuration and use of web analytics in the development of a new web site for CommSec. By providing the User Experience team with accurate and timely analysis on usage of the web site, you will support the optimisation of the user experience across our web and mobile platforms.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with web site developers to ensure the appropriate tagging of pages in the public, private and mobile pages of our web site. This includes defining tagging requirements; reviewing technical design; and QA of solution to ensure tags flow through to the relevant Web Analytics reports.
- Develop and maintain Online Analytics Dashboards.
- Conduct analysis using data from both our online analytics platform as well as from other product systems, to derive deep insights about customer behaviour.
- Make recommendations on best-practice for optimisation of the user experience by using Adobe CQ5, Site Catalyst, and Test Target.
The Candidate
In order to be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in web analytics
- Experience in working with UX and Design to ensure analytics is built into new development.
- Experience in using best practice of analytics to implement change on conversion and objectives.
- Experience with the Adobe solution stack (Site Catalyst, CQ5 and Test Target) is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
