The State University of New York System Administration, located in Albany, NY, is seeking to fill two Web Application Developer positions within the Office of Information and Technology department. We are looking for bright, ambitious Web Application Developers who will be responsible for designing, enhancing, developing and maintaining our Student website and Undergraduate Application web based systems. The systems are primarily developed in Java and Cold Fusion with relational database back-end and Web-based front end.
Requirements:
Senior Level Requirements: Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of programming experience in a web-based environment, along with strong written and oral communication skills.
Entry Level Requirements: Bachelor's degree with education and/or experience in Web design and Web application development.
Preferred: Education and/or proven experience developing and delivering applications that utilize any combination of the following: Java, Hibernate, ColdFusion, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Flex, ActionScript, XML, AJAX, web services, and relational database design.
