Web Designer for Health Social Network at Inspire (Princeton, NJ) (allows remote)
Job Description
Inspire is seeking an outstanding Web designer to join our team.
You will work as part of a small, highly-focused team and play an integral role in feature design for http://www.inspire.com, a vibrant social network which receives over 2 million visits and 8 million pageviews every month, and is growing rapidly. There are virtually no impediments to bringing your creative vision to life at Inspire. If you want to be part of a team that helps people in a direct and tangible way, we want to meet you.
Specific responsibilities include:
--Working with the development team to spec and design new features for http://www.inspire.com, and to revamp existing features
--Converting design comps to functional HTML and CSS
--Working with the team to implement, test and deploy features you design
--Testing design alternatives (A/B testing)
--Evaluating member feedback regarding Inspire features, and making improvements based on that feedback

Skills Requirements
Comprehensive experience with the Adobe design suite
Mastery of CSS
Mastery of XHTML
At least some hands-on experience with Javascript and client-side coding
Extensive experience with cross-browser compatibility testing and general QA
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently; Self motivation
