MCM Electronics is looking for a highly motivated Web Developer.
Job Purpose:
Development and support of the MCM Website Applications.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Development and maintenance of web applications including main website, microsites and customer specific extranet sites.
- Responsible for the day to day operations of the main website, microsites and extranet sites.
- Database management and design.
- Various data management tasks.
- Working with various departments to ensure requirements and timelines are met.
- Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
- Ensure development is conducted in accordance with processes relating to Standards, Configuration Control, Project Lifecycle Methodologies, Quality Control and Documentation.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and 3 + years experience.
- 3+ years experience with .net, asp.net,Visual Studio, C# and Java.
- 3+ years experience with Microsoft Commerce Server.
- 3+ years experience with HTML, CSS, XML, PHP, JSP.Perl, shell and JavaScript.
- Experience with Apache Struts, Hibernate, Spring Framework,JBoss, EJB and XML.
- 3+ years experience with SQL Server 2005 with integration services.
- Strong technical background with both Linux and Windows environments, including: systems operations and hardware, installation and configuration of software.
- eCommerce Experience, working with shopping carts using various payment methods and shipping carriers.
- SEO, Experience with implementing and maintaining search tools.
- Multi-language, multi-currency platforms.
