Position Summary

Bosch Security Systems is seeking a web developer to create, modify
and support our dynamic, database-driven websites and
eCommunications using ASP, MS-SQL, ColdFusion, JavaScript, XML, and
CSS. This position is responsible for web applications development
as well as content management and maintenance. Support for the
following areas of Bosch Security Systems, Inc.: Video, Intrusion,
Fire and Access Control. The individual in this role will use
feedback analyses from internal and external customers in North
America to develop and improve web presence and execution, seeking
synergistic opportunities with the global team in Europe and Asia
sales regions whenever possible.

Principal Responsibilities

60%: web applications development Responsible for developing,
testing, implementing, and maintaining web- based application
systems. Troubleshoots system problems and issues and looks for
ways to improve the application. Has knowledge of a variety of
concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
(XHTML, CSS, ASP, ColdFusion, JavaScript, Microsoft Content
Management Server, Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 databases,
VB.NET/C#.NET, Adobe Flash, and IIS server)

40%: content management and maintenance Assists in the development
and implementation of content on websites. May be involved with
integrating work of writers and designers to produce a final layout
compatible with corporate standards. Required to have knowledge of
XHTML, CSS, ASP, ColdFusion and JavaScript programming languages.

This position requires interfacing with a remote group of
stakeholders, therefore highly developed communications skills
(verbal, written and explanation) are mandatory.

Education

• Professional degree coupled with minimum of two years experience

Experience

• Minimum two years experience • Experience in a corporate
environment preferred • Background in Computer Science preferred

Special Skills

• Intermediate to advanced skills with XHTML, CSS, ASP, ColdFusion,
JavaScript, and Microsoft SQL. • Adobe Flash skill set should
include ActionScript (at least v2), database and XML integration.
• Experience with maintaining Microsoft Content Management Server,
Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 databases, VB.NET/C#.NET, Adobe
ColdFusion, Adobe Flash, and website administration on IIS server
preferred. • Ability to manage domain names and secure
certificates. • Experience with analytics tracking and producing
reports that highlight key initiatives. • Ability to research and
keep abreast of emerging technologies is a must in order to be able
to deliver the most up-to-date solutions such as learning new
programming languages or technologies. • Ideal candidates should be
capable of fulfilling many project requirements simultaneously as
well as experience managing external vendors to achieve results.
• Ability to tackle a problem in new/different ways • This
individual must be self-motivated with strong organizational and
communication skills.
