Web Front End Developer 2
Overview:
Our client is a family-owned, California vintner with products available around the world. Right now this company has an immediate contract opening for an experienced Web Developer. The primary responsibility of this Web Front End Developer is the development of front end screens using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, XSLT, and SQL.
Responsibilities will include:
* Development of web modules based on provided specification documents
* Unit testing of all code against specified requirements
* Work with Software QA personnel to resolve defects
* Providing reasonable task and project cost / effort estimates
* Ensuring timely, effective, and quality delivery of software into production
Requirements:
* 4 years developing complex data driven web front ends using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
* Understanding of data models and proficiency in SQL querying and DML
* Strong knowledge of best practices related to web front end design
* Experience in any of the following a plus: AJAX, XSL / XSLT, XML, XPATH, PL / SQL
This contract position is approximately 6 months in duration.
