Vistaprint is looking for a Web Visual Designer for our European Headquarters in Barcelona who will be a key member of the Web Creative Team focusing on taking Vistaprint.com, the heart soul and storefront of the brand, to the next generation of user experience, design, and interactivity. As part of the newly created in-house European Web Creative Team, you will help develop and evolve the 17 European websites
As a Sr. Web Visual Designer, you will have an opportunity to showcase your unique skill sets to unify our design capabilities, elevate our rich media expertise, and produce great web pages that are seen and used by millions of customers around Europe and worldwide.
Your role will involve
· Design inspired, innovative, elegant and easy to use UI design solutions to communicate Marketing messages with high visual impact
· Work closely with fellow visual and ux designers, developers, copywriters, translators and marketing personnel to design realistic user experience solutions that also meet business objectives
· Design web pages with the highest quality of usability and standards, translating wireframes to web creative visuals, and generating style guides for developers implement them in HTML and CSS
In return you will bring
· College degree in Graphic, Interaction, or related Design field is preferred
· Expert with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator...)
· Expert in the creation of compelling and original user interfaces for consumer and business products, software, or services
· Aptitude for taking input from multiple sources and synthesizing it into coherent designs
· A strong knowledge of Web architecture, standards, page layout, typography, photo editing...
· Mobile application design programming experience a major plus
· Applicants should have a strong visual interface design portfolio available for viewing
