Wholesale Banking Operations Head, Bahrain recruitment

Job Description
To provide strategic oversight and to ensure that the respective product delivery platforms are optimized when taken, as one integrated platform and that efficiencies, scales and synergies are leveraged.
- To ensure implementation and adherence to the group's risk and control policies, customer service standards, and performance measures. The role holder assumes the role of project manager for any of the Group's operations related projects.
Key Roles Responsibilities
- To identify strategic service delivery issues relating to technology, process, human resource and service quality in the country and reflect them in the operational plans with appropriate actions to address the issues.
- To identify and migrate best practice from the respective operational platforms across other units.
- To facilitate dealings with support and sales functions and other businesses to promote 'One Bank'.
- To work closely with the Heads of OCC and Financial Markets, Transaction Banking, Banks, Securities Services Sales, etc. to ensure that the service delivered by various Wholesale Bank operational platforms are of top quality and that customers needs and being attended to according to our service level agreements.
- To ensure that key business practices and service delivery processes are conducted in compliance with Group and country regulatory guidelines and those risks are identified and managed.
- To proactively work with the respective heads of WB Operation Units within Thailand in identifying key and potential staff, initiating development plans for the individuals and ensuring that cross functional career development opportunities are available to staff with potential. Also to ensure that LDP process is well embedded in the day-to-day management of the respective service delivery units.
- To identify, drive and exploit, in country and x-border cross selling opportunities to maximize Wholesale Bank business revenue as well as to highlight Group network business opportunities, to the Global Product Sales Heads.
- To ensure that the integrated platforms of Client Service Group operate to the standards described above.

- Ensure that staff are appropriately deployed and developed.
- Good knowledge of Trade Services, Cash Management Services, Loan Processing, Securities Services, Global Market Operations and Client Service.
- Knowledge of the Bank's transactions processing and accounting systems.
- Fluency in English, with Arabic language skills preferable
