Windows Engineer – Hedge Fund
My client is a tier one Global Hedge Fund looking for a Windows Engineer to work within their large Technology Infrastructure team.
They need an experienced candidate with a good understanding of the Windows environment and experience working within the enterprise environment.
Experience working within an Investment Management environment is essential for this role.
Role requirements include supporting UK and international users, providing them with a high quality, proactive service to enhance and support.
Key Skills:
- Windows Server 2008/2012
- Virtualisation platforms
- Active Directory
- Exchange
- SCOM, SCCM App-V
- Sharepoint
- Mobile technologies (Especially Blackberry)
The candidate must be confident working within a high pressured environment and should have an understanding of the networking OSI layers. The candidate should be a highly motivated self-starter who will thrive in a dynamic and demanding environment.
