The Sponsored Products Marketing Analyst will reside within Wellington Management's Sponsored Products Group, which oversees the firm's global funds business, and will be focused on the firm's non-US fund business, known generically as Wellington Management Portfolios or WMP. As of 31 December 2012, WMP is comprised of 68 funds offering a variety of investment styles, domiciled in nine different legal jurisdictions, with assets of approximately $30 billion.

With pooled fund solutions playing an increasingly important role in the growth of the firm's client relationships and assets globally, Sponsored Products seeks a professional to join the team as a Marketing Analyst.
The Sponsored Products Marketing Analyst (London) is a member of the Sponsored Products Marketing team, responsible for creating and maintaining a high volume of marketing content for WMP funds. The position involves working closely with other areas of the firm including Product Management, Global Relationship Group, Investment Information Group, Investment Marketing, Legal and Compliance, and Information Services.
Specific responsibilities include:
•Liaising with London and Asia-based client teams to understand the marketing needs of the channels they serve
•Monitoring competitors' materials and public sites and developing competitive positioning for WMP funds
•Creating, maintaining, updating, and posting fund marketing materials including: factsheets, fund highlights, fund presentations, fund commentaries, fund brochures, videos, and competitive/positioning pieces
•Adapting internal documents to varied audiences including intermediary, and high net worth.
•Knowing and efficiently using technology/tools including WMC applications (Performance Reporter, IQT, PCS Online, Fact Sheet Tool, Enterprise Reporting) and vendor services including Morningstar and FactSet
•Ad hoc research projects on industry trends and developments
*Providing analytical input to marketing projects such as new fund proposals, financial product reviews, and client analyses
•Maintaining strong working relationships with Legal and Compliance, Product Management, Investment Information Group, Performance Group, and Publishing and Creative Services
The successful candidate will have significant relevant European fund marketing experience, understand marketing principals and investment concepts, have the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while understanding which have priority based on due dates and impact. A strong attention to detail is critical. The position requires high-quality work in an environment that often imposes multiple and conflicting priorities. The successful candidate will know or quickly learn various desk-top applications required for the position.
Specific skills/abilities include:
•Experience working with European funds in a marketing role, and knowledge of relevant European regulatory frameworks
•Possess strong writing and analytical skills, ability to think creatively
•Ability to follow projects through from beginning to end (from idea generation and development, data gathering and research, to analysis and presentation of results)
•Ability to work independently; self-directed
•Significant experience in Excel
•Strong academic credentials
