We are actively seeking a Territory Account Manager (TAM) for our Southeastern U.S. sales territory (Delaware, Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida). This role will work remote, and can work anywhere within the territory.
The Territory Account Managers for Wolters Kluwer CT Lien Solutions have the primary responsibility of maintaining medium and large customer accounts that are provided with CT solutions and services related to real estate and commercial lending (e.g., Uniform Commercial Code, recording mortgage documents; retrieving real property records; flood determinations; recording and retrieving motor vehicle liens). The TAM is responsible for serving and maintaining frequent contact (remotely and on-site) with roughly 100 to 250 customer accounts within a defined geographic region. Responsibilities include on-boarding and training new clients, up-selling products and services to existing clients, and teaming with sales to create and maintain positive business relationships with current and prospective clients.
Activities of the Territory Account Manager include:
- Learning and maintaining knowledge of the full line of CT Lien Solution products and services;
- Contributing to pre-sale activities to secure new customer accounts;
- Managing the on-boarding of new customers and facilitating the implementation of CT Lien Solution products and services;
- Maintaining and expanding existing customer business to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and retention goals;
- Contributing to software issue resolution and product enhancement to meet customer needs;
- Managing time and resources effectively to accomplish account management goals; and representing Wolters Kluwer within the industry.
Qualifications for this role include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline; OR, if no degree, 9 years of sales experience. Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related discipline preferred.
- 5 years of outside sales experience, including: Consultative sales approach; Learning a complex product line quickly through self initiative and discipline; Making in-person presentations to prospective clients to explain the business’ products and services and their alignment with the client’s needs; Creating and delivering training materials; Working with minimum oversight; Communicating in verbal and written form.
- Use of CRM tools to manage activity.
- Selling in a collaborative environment.
- Selling complex products/services requiring in-depth knowledge of the client's business and the product's functionality. Troubleshooting and solving technical issues.
- Consistently meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
- Uniform Commercial Code knowledge preferred.
- Contract negotiation preferred.
- Real estate lending preferred.
- Overnight, domestic travel 50%-70%.
- Ability to travel independently.
- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Ability to travel by air.
- Ability to obtain an American Express card.
