Position Summary:
The Field Sales Representative (FSR) for the Wolters Kluwer CCH Tax and Accounting Publishing Division develops and grows revenue from the sale of tax and accounting research products that meets or exceeds an assigned quota. Customers include CPA firms and corporate tax and accounting departments. FSR accountabilities and activities include:

 learning and staying well-informed on the complex and comprehensive tax and accounting research product line;
 establishing, updating and managing target account lists and sales pipeline information;
 following a rapidly paced and comprehensive sales process to develop new and expand existing customer accounts. The sale process entails:
― cold calling
― customer need diagnosis
― solution configuration and pricing
― clear and compelling articulation of CCH product features, benefits, value, and relative positioning to competitive products
― in-person presentations and demos/training
― closing sales and processing orders
 managing time and resources effectively
 and contributing to sales planning and forecasting activities

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field; OR, if no degree, 5 years of B2B field/outside sales experience selling non-manufacturing/non-agriculture products/services.

Non-compete: Must be able to sell into all clients within the territory without restrictions or challenges from enforceable non-complete contracts within 30 days of employment.

Experience and Prior Performance:
2+ years of B2B field/outside sales experience in non-agricultural/manufacturing industries, including:
• Developing and qualifying prospect lists.
• Making in-person presentations to prospective clients to explain the business’ products and services and their alignment with the client’s needs.
• Managing a large client base and/or selling products with rapid sales cycles.
• Using online presentation tools.
• Consistent achievement of sales quotas.
• Working tradeshow and conference events.
• Selling a complex product/service requiring in-depth knowledge of the client’s business and the products functionality.
• Developing accurate sales forecasts.
• Earning majority of total compensation in commission.
• Learning complex product line quickly through self initiative and discipline.
• Regular attainment of President’s Club status.

Bonus: Selling to tax, accounting or compliance professions (including accounting firms, law firms, corporate tax departments, HR departments).
