The Company
This leading Workers Compensation Insurer who continue to grow from strength to strength are currently seeking an experienced Case Manager who will proactively manage their own portfolio of claims within NSW legislation.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Claims Manager, the primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Assessing and determining liability for a portfolio of Workers Compensation claims
- Coordinating treatment provision, rehabilitation and return to work for injured workers.
- Implementing Injury Management Plans on all significant injury claims.
- Participate in case conferences with injured worker, nominated treating doctor and Return to Work Coordinator and/or external rehabilitation provider.
- Carrying out regular claims reviews with external stakeholders
- Ensuring all payments are made within current legislative requirements
About You
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following:
- At least 12 months workers compensation claims experience
- Allied Health Qualification (preferable but not essential)
- Good technical knowledge
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent problem solving skills and a proactive attitude
