Team DescriptionThe Global Fund Services (GFS) Project Delivery Teams are responsible for delivering large scale, complex, client on-boarding and change projects across GFS.
Key Responsibilities:Deliver J2EE technology expertise and innovation, and lead a small team of developers with varying experience and skill profiles.Architect, design, analyse, develop, code, test, debug and document J2EE solutions to meet business requirements of varying size complexity.Define adhere to architecture standards, lead presentations in architecture design, review and feasibility discussions, contribute to strategic technology directions and best practices.Delivery of high-quality code, mentor less experienced team members, perform code reviews, and assist the team in supporting the applications in QA and production environments.Participate in or lead cross-functional development/integration projects requiring interaction with Business users and various internal external technology teams.Investigate, assess and resolve issues or defects in the applications quick and perform root cause analysis and remediation.Adapt to a globally distributed development team model, and adhere to JP Morgan standards processes.Keep abreast with the latest developments in Enterprise Java and open source technologies, and keen towards knowledge sharing across the wider team and propose adoption of new technologies where appropriate.
Qualifications
Your Background:Proven experience in core Java, EJB, springs, Struts, JBOSS, Swing, Websphere and Tomcat.Understanding or experience in Ajax, Flex, Jasper, JQuery, Oracle PL/SQL Unix.Demonstrable understanding of SDLC including functional technical specification, documentation, QA processes, source control, maintenance and deployments.Demonstrable experience in leading end-to-end solution architecture, design patterns and enterprise application integration of third party and custom developed solutions.Through understanding of separation of layers between transport data access (i.e. iBatis, Hibernate), business logic, and presentation technologies.Demonstrable experience with application and system monitoring tools, and test automation.Proven experience of Technical design and programming .Demonstrable ability to lead mentor junior members of the team.Desirables:Exposure or Experience in .net technologies and SQL server.Understanding and/or experience in XP, Scrum and Agile methodologiesAbout J.P.Morgan Treasury Securities ServicesTreasury Securities Services (TSS) generates more than $8 billion in revenue annually and is a global leader in custody, securities lending, fund accounting and administration, as well as in treasury services.
