WSS Technology (Shared Services) – Application Support Manager – AVP – Based in Bournemouth recruitment
We are looking to hire an Application Support Manager to join our WSS Technology Shared Services department.
Located in the Bournemouth facility, Trade Utilities Reconciliation is a small technology group that own a number of intra-system messaging components that support the Clearance, Custody, Global Funds Services lines of business.
Our platforms move transaction information between a variety of trade capture, accounting, portfolio management applications. In addition, our group own the Transaction Lifecycle Management reconciliation platform for the whole WSS division, supporting risk reduction and improved process efficiency.

Qualifications
Your Background:You will be ITIL qualified in IT Service Management DeliveryYou can describe your experience in leading a small Operate team. You have managed vendors, virtual teams, and have a track-record of partnering others effectively and of collaborating for success.You will have significant experience of working in the banking and finance sector and be able to demonstrate a strong grasp of the key concepts of accounting and equity tradingYou are comfortable interacting with senior managers and stakeholdersYou can discuss in detail your role in the operation of an effective technology continuous service improvement program.Your background has encompassed all aspects of the software development life-cycle.You will have experience of working in distributed platform architectures, and be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of most of the following technologies - Oracle, PL/SQL, UNIX, Shell Scripting, MQ, Websphere Message Broker, AutoSys Job Scheduling, Mainframe JCLYou can explain how technology is managed as a service and detail practical examples of where you have improved the technology value proposition.Desirables:A knowledge of agile software developmentA degree in a computer-science or related subject (or equilivant work experience)About J.P.Morgan Treasury Security ServicesTreasury Securities Services (TSS) generates more than $8 billion in revenue annually and is a global leader in custody, securities lending, fund accounting and administration, as well as in treasury services.
