XPLAN Trainer recruitment

The Role
Our client is a well known Wealth management division based in North Sydney that immediately requires a XPLAN trainer who can deliver XPLAN training to a range of audiences, (both employed and self employed), including advisers and their support staff and internal users.

Key responsibilites will include:
• Ongoing review of training material programs as required.
• Assist with ongoing student support as required.
• Assist with the development, maintenance and enhancement of training programs and material.
• Conduct Training Needs analysis, both for advice businesses and internal teams as required.
• Identify job specific development training needs
• Ensure Financial Planning knowledge remains current.
• Monitor expenditure and project budgets
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of developments and enhancements to the tool.
• Maintaining current knowledge across a wide range of financial planning topics.
• Developing effective training delivery methods in the face of changing client demands and technological improvements
• Ensuring internal and external stakeholders and participants understand and advocate the value the FATO project.

The Requirements:
• Extensive Xplan experience
• RG 146 qualified or experience within Financial Planning preferred
• Knowledge of XPLAN Adviser software and its application to Financial Planning practices and teams
• Excellent training and facilitation skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills: speaking confidently in both formal and informal settings
• Facilitation skills: guiding and shaping group sessions, and understanding when intervention is required
• Ability to facilitate to adult learners
• Demonstrated outstanding ability to contribute and work effectively within a team environment
• Understanding of varying learning styles
• Demonstrated ability to deliver training to diverse groups of clients with varying levels of IT competence learning needs
• Understanding of financial planning industry and businesses
• Stron interpersonal and excellent client consulting skills required
