Leading financial / banking company based in Zurich, Switzerland require Software Developer with exccellent Java Scala development skills. The company has developed its own state-of-the-art, integrated IT infrastructure that aims to set new standards in stability and flexibility to meet its clients’ most rigorous quality and efficiency requirements. The ambition is to become a leading global financial service provider active across asset classes and wrappers, with a main footprint in Europe and Asia.
YOUR TASKS RESPONSIBILITIES :
Developing innovative IT solutions to key business problems in a business facing role.
Working on strategic projects in an international team
Opportunities to take a leading role within projects
OUR REQUIREMENTS :
Technical proficiency in Java or Scala, Swing, Spring, SQL, XML, Oracle
Understanding of asynchronous messaging architectures
Any other OO or functional programming experience would be considered an advantage
Proven track record of delivering solutions and applications
Strong problem analysis and investigation skills and ability to find creative solutions to system issues
and user problems
Experience in a Finance or Trading environment or an interest in structured products
Higher education degree in Computer Science
Experience of formal development methods and techniques
Ability to work independently
Good mathematical skills
Good communication skills in English and preferably German
