The roles sit in the advisory/capital markets placement business arm of our client, that is primarily set up to assist the principal investment division and advise third party clients on innovative event driven funding. In an environment where bank financing is restricted, they see a unique opportunity to provide innovative and fast debt/equity solutions in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
The buy and build approach of principal investments ranges from thermal coal mining in South Africa through to distribution platforms of Korean mobile applications into Europe, distribution of educational content in non-English speaking countries and agribusiness in sub Saharan Africa.
Skills and Experience
Our Client is interested in hiring 3 Associates, for its London based team, but travel to their other offices around Europe would be expected. They believe in providing a unique learning experience and entrepreneurial environment in a business which has the potential to become a leading European alternative finance provider with global ambitions.
The ideal candidates will have:
- Three to six years of experience in MA, Leverage Finance, Equity Capital Markets, Convertable Bonds or Debt Capital Markets
- Must have excellent spoken and written English
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Additional languages are an advantage (especially German).
