Account Executive

My client is part of a worldwide association of independent pharmaceutical companies that have been developing vital new drugs for more than half a century. They produce a number of drugs for the treatment of severe pain, cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease and gastrointestinal disease.

They are current recruiting for a 6 month maternity cover Account Executive (GP/Hospital) to promote their specialist Pain portfolio across the Northern Western Trust's in Northern Ireland.

Key responsibilities of the Account Exec will include:
• To drive business through account management approach to achieve sales targets
• To deliver account plan objectives and identify short/medium long term growth opportunities
• To create and maintain key account plans based on business needs

You the successful candidate will have proven Pharmaceutical sales experience and a solid understanding of the local environment. You will also have proven ability to gain prescriptions in a negative environment and have knowledge of local, regional and national formulary inclusion processes, guidelines and pathways. Excellent communication, negotiation, planning and team working skills are also required for this role.
