Account Executive


POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for generating maximum advertising revenue for all A+E Networks properties through the sale of advertising time to existing and potential clients.

PRIMARY DUTIES

Cover all assigned agencies and clients in an effort to maximize revenue. Thorough and timely response to all requests for proposals. Develop and maintain relationships with all key decision makers

Negotiate scatter and upfront business. Work with Pricing Inventory and Integrated Sales Department on pricing, added value and marketing elements

Provide support and oversee daily activities of Sales Service Representative and Integrated Sales Planner to ensure proper airing and stewardship of account list. Conduct weekly team meetings to review all deals points, schedule changes, and approaching deadlines

Work with PI, Research and Integrated Department to identify and pursue new business and under shared accounts

Share account strategy and collaborate with NY counterparts and regional share partners to help maximize AETN revenue

Required Experience:
College degree. Research, media math, marketing. Minimum of 4 years broadcast sales experience; prior cable industry experience preferred. Must be professional, organized, comfortable presenting in front of large groups and a team player
