As a Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for creating, developing, and closing business. You will be joining the worlds largest provider of technology to the Business Solutions / Events market. We are looking for a driven sales executive with 5+ years experience in the Business Solutions / Events marketplace. Your success will be based on an ability to work with the team in order to deliver both personal and team targets.

Job Responsibilities:

Drive sales with strategic customers by promoting and selling them online technology applications
Proactively hunt for new business to call on, via phone, email and face-to-face
Develop and execute account plans for key accounts
Aggressively pursue and close new business, yet building trust, loyalty and solid long-term relationships with key decision-makers
Coordinate all aspects of the sale from start to finish, including price and contract negotiations
Create and conduct customer presentations and proposals
Own and report pipeline development and sales forecasting Strong consultative face to face relationship building with new clients
Maintain a strong understanding of the communities market and customers' buying motives
Natural ability to conduct "needs analysis" with the client and offer them the right solution for their needs
Provide leadership in the Active Networks international communities space
Achieve at a minimum monthly, quarterly and annual booking quotas as outlined by management
Develop and maintain knowledge of competition and industry trends
Work in conjunction with other team members
Travel to and participate in sports specific conferences and events

Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years experience in Business Solutions /Events
- A strong network to draw upon in the Australian / New Zealand Marketplace.
- Agency and Associations contacts are a plus.
- A successful track record of delivering sales targets and quotas.
- Proven ability to arrange meetings, handle objections and articulate company message.
- Knowledge of IT sales, networking, telecommunications, solutions and services preferred.
- Experience in speaking with and cold-calling to A/B/C level, management, and executives.
- Experience with B2B Cold Calling Campaigns / Inside Sales / Outbound Lead Generation is advantageous, but not essential.
- Experience in CRM systems and / or other database systems preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills (articulate, educated, and efficient).
- Confident, persistent attitude with proven sales record.
- Strong computer and software skills are vital.
- Multi-lingual skills a plus.
