Corporate Financial Services (CFS) is part of the Business and Private Banking (BPB) business unit of the Commonwealth Bank. The CFS team serves over 12,000 clients with complex financial needs and over $10m in revenue. The division is well placed to provide medium and large companies with access to a wide range of financial services with approximately 800 professionals in nearly 50 locations across Australia.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
In this high performing and successful team, the Account Manager works closely with the Relationship Executive Corporate, to support the ongoing needs of a portfolio of Corporate Bankingdiversified clients in Corporate Financial Services (CFS). This outstanding opportunity focusses on meeting the daily banking requirements of the client base, monitoring the performance of existing clients, and assisting in deal execution from origination through to financial close, whilst supporting the Relationship Executive in developing new business opportunities with existing clients and identifying with new clients from a variety of sources. The Account Manager will have a high level of exposure to clients and is a key part of the Relationship team.The Account Manager is passionate about customer service and focused on being number 1 in client satisfaction.
DUTIES:
- Preparation of the various Relationship Executive reporting requirements such as pipeline, leads, calls, contacts and revenues versus plan.
- You will complete performance monitoring and annual reviews for existing clients and report on client's financial and operational performance to Risk Management to ensure that clients conduct facilities within agreed arrangements.
- You will work closely with Product Specialists to meet client's Transactional Banking requirements.
- In addition you may assist with the preparation of credit submissions for new facilities to ensure the timely delivery of decisions, and will co-ordinate deal execution through documentation and funding to ensure efficient delivery of clients' requirements.
- You will also be responsible for the accuracy of information on source systems.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
You will ideally have strong previous client service experience in a corporate, commercial, or business banking environment. It would be highly desirableif you havesome credit risk experience, but this is not a must.You will be able to demonstrate strong communication, systemsand process skills and possess the composure and drive to commit to meet tight transaction deadlines in this highly successful and fast-paced group/team. You will be a self-motivated self-starter, with a CAN do attitude, and the drive to quickly develop any new skills. A degree in a related discipline is desired.
