Accounting Manager (m/w) recruitment
Preference will be given to candidates possessing:
- knowledge of international and local IFRS accounting principles and the typical accounting requirements of finance companies (book-keeping, reconciliation and dual ledger German GAAP/IFRS accounting);
- basic knowledge of the financial/actuarial mathematical principles used in evaluation of financing: EAR, nominal interest rate, NPV, etc.;
- knowledge of financial procedures used in: financing, leasing, factoring, dealer finance, consumer credit, etc.;
- knowledge of accounting procedures for handling chief forms of customer payments: PAP, cheque, transfer, etc.;
- knowledge of monthly and annual tax and pensions formalities: calculation of VAT payments, pro-rata, etc.;
- experience of accounting and tax procedures and paperwork for cross-border transactions ;
- experience of closing of annual company accounts and management of relations with internal and external auditors and statutory board of auditors;
- knowledge of periodical disclosure obligations to monitoring bodies (BAFIN reporting);
- hands-on experience of specific accounting ITC systems used by finance companies;
- knowledge of the English language (written and spoken) and the most common office computing systems .
The position reports directly to the Head of Administration, Finance and Control. The ideal candidate will have an economics-related degree and at least five years’ work experience as a member of administrative management or staff in finance companies providing financing and/or leasing to private or corporate clients or consumer credit services.
