Actuary/Actuarial Analyst recruitment
Macquarie Adviser Services (MAS) within the Banking and Financial Services Group (BFS) of Macquarie Bank manages relationships with external financial intermediaries and provides sales, service, product manufacturing and management of in-house and external products, including the Macquarie Life Insurance product suite. Due to growth this newly created position will be responsible for providing actuarial support and analysis Macquarie insurance and investment products including pricing, profitability, analysis and statutory valuations. Working as part of a small dynamic and innovative team the role can provide broad experience across a range of business projects.
Role Overview:
- This opportunity will provide you with a breadth and depth of responsibilities in an innovative and flexible environment;
- You will be charged with actuarial management of insurance products, pricing, investigations and profitability analysis;
- Management and statutory profit reporting and analysis for Macquarie Life;
- The provision of capital analysis and management for Macquarie Life insurance and investment products;
- Preparation of insurance and platforms business forecasts and budgets.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- You are degree qualified and have either recently or nearly completed your actuarial professional qualification;
- Prior experience with MoSes, Prophet or Mo.Net is essential;
- You possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
- You are have a proven track record in providing consultation and are confident in presenting to senior management;
- You are highly organised, self motivated and flexible.
