Application Support Associate (KM) [Ref: P710-Application Support Associate (KM)] recruitment
The bank is a leader in equity derivatives and structured products business. Risk management is a strategic part of this business, and you will therefore play a key role in the support of this complex and challenging activity. This role is a Front Office support on PnL and Risk Management Tools and you will on a daily basis be in contact with traders and other front-office and ITEC teams in charge of supporting this activity. You will also have to develop a sound knowledge of business constraints and equity derivatives information system.
Your Role:
- Lead and coordinate investigations to resolve users’ problems effectively. Formalize problems and escalate to the development team when need be. Propose workaround to unblock severe situations; Propose sustainable solutions to tackle recurrent business issues
- Seek feedback on escalated problems in order to follow them up and update the end user. Follow up with clients to ensure that our level of service is in line with their expectations. Liaise with other ITEC teams to take into account clients’ needs/expectations/issues
- Estimate the risks and opportunities in our day to day job, and take initiatives to reduce the risks and improve our efficiency. Provide support to team mates when necessary
- Share experience and expertise to develop others. Develop collaboration with other ITEC teams in order to ease problem resolutions, prepare releases or ensure that our specificities/constraints are taken into account during change management
- Identify possible improvements in the information system and related business processes, and then lead their implementation. That includes steering performances optimization, identifying possible improvements in data workflow, etc
Your Profile:
- Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities
- Good client management and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of financial products pricing and risk valuation
- Capable of working under pressure and stress in a fast-paced environment
- Sound knowledge on Linux, SQL, Windows environments
- Good command of English
- Good knowledge of Equity Derivatives business
- Ability to work on own initiative
