The Unit Manager, Global Coordinator/Project Management is able to lead a MFAA Operations Support unit. Leads all efforts to develop solutions and manage the implementation process through system and operational projects for both global and domestic initiatives. These projects directly impact the ability of the lines of business to conduct day-to-day operations with product management/development, tax, regulatory and new business development. This entails coordination of global business requests escalated by, but not limited to the U.S., India, UK, Ireland, and Singapore within MFAA, ETF and AIS along with senior managers input. Develops initiatives, participates in prioritization and coordination of implementation. Monitor and analyze daily, weekly and monthly MIS and provides reports to senior management. Develops a close working relationship with Fund/project sponsors, and ensures department services all requests in a timely, complete and professional manner. Communicates and enforces Bank policies and procedures. Generate monthly statistics; provide detailed status of client deliverables vs. operational efficiencies. This position requires computer literacy for daily hands on access to computer systems. Preferred experience with Eagle/STAR PACE, Data Security Administration and Project Management.

Knowledgeable of the risk and sensitivity of data utilized by business units in the performance of its function(s). Experience in a business/systems development. Experience in managing a staff is preferred. Ability to adapt to changing priorities, new regulatory requirements.

Able to define the business unit's job functions and establish individual access requirements on a need to know basis with consideration being given to sound business controls requiring separation of duties. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. Global coordination requires sensitivity to multiple time zones and cultures must be taken into account when globally facilitating.

This job as a direct impact to the business as it relates to upgrades, implementations, performance management. The ability to manage expectations must be sharp to provide positive experience for the business and client.

A high degree of negotiation and organization skills are required to lead/manage a staff made up of direct or indirect reports to execute a project in a timely and accurate fashion. Excellent written and communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred. Project leadership experience preferred; 10+ years of experience required in MF securities industry; 10 years of financial services; 12+ years financial services preferred; 8 years of Management experience and 3-5 years project management experience. Strong project management skills, MS Office, MS Project, analytical, detail oriented, excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
