Front Office C#/Python/Excel/VBA Developer – Front Office Equities Trading Floor, Manhattan, New York

Our client is a Leading Global Investment Bank with a very profitable and successful Global Equities business headquartered from Manhattan. The firm has achieved great success over recent years, establishing itself as one of the leading US Investment Banks. A huge amount of this success has been attributed to the ongoing commitment on cutting edge technology and technical talent. Through growth of the Equities team and a new front office Analytics project, we are seeking a front office developer to take a key role on the desk. This is a RAD role in with you will working in a fast paced, dynamic and performance driven environment. You will work directly alongside traders and quantitative analysts and be expected to quickly respond and building robust tools focused around risk, pricing and PnL.
The ideal candidate will be highly numerate and have strong technical skills across a range of technologies – including python, C#, VBA, excel and java. The role will offer a great opportunity to gain exposure to the markets and this is suited to a front office developer/quantitative developer looking for a challenge and a role that offers interaction with the front office on a daily basis.
Compensation will be competitive, with great bonus potential and company benefits.
Responsibilities for Front Office C#/Python/Excel/VBA Developer – Front Office Equities Trading Floor
-Design cutting edge front office trading tools/applications based around analytics, pricing, PnL
-Work closely with senior traders/quants in the Equities Sales and Trading Team
-Work quickly on a front office trading desk
-Use a range of cutting edge technologies/frameworks including C#, Excel, VBA, Python and more
Key Skills for Front Office C#/Python/Excel/VBA Developer – Front Office Equities Trading Floor
- Strong technical skills across a range of technologies (C#, Java, Python, Excel, VBA)
- Great communication skills
- Knowledge of Equities is a big plus
-Prior experience in a front office/RAD environment
- Good academic background
