Position
An opportunity is available for an Assistant Manager/Manager to join our Transaction Services team. This role will work closely with clients in order to win and execute transactions, build relationships with clients and referral sources, as well as being actively involved in business development activities. Supporting senior executives this role will work closely with other teams throughout the firm.
Reporting to the Director, the responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Managing the preparation of pitches and proposal documents
- Managing divestment and acquisition processes
- Assisting with negotiation and finalisation of deals
- Preparation and review of financial models
- Mentoring and development of junior staff members
- Provide tactical and strategic input on deals as appropriate
- Prepare presentations to clients, potential clients and referral sources
Skills Experience
To be successful in this role, you will possess the desire or actual MA transaction experience, along with a solid understanding of key accounting, tax, finance and legal issues which may impact transactions. Proven ability in project management, advanced excel modelling skills and the ability to build client relationships are essential in this role. The successful candidate will be a strong team player, self-motivated with a desire to lead others. Tertiary qualifications and appropriate post graduate qualification will be highly regarded.
