Job Description

- Support snr staff on transaction origiation execution
- Financial modeling oversight of Associates Analysts

Key Roles Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain understanding of metals mining clients in terms of corporate strategy and objectives, operations and financials, needs/requirement snd valuation
- Work with MDs and Product Partners to help develop strategic transaction initiatives for Clients
(i) Initiatives could include MA, Leveraged Financing, IPOs etc.
(ii) Candidate must be able to provide leadership in thinking through the issues which will be of concern to the client in any 'pitch', soliciting help from MDs and Product Partners for specific inputs and producing a first draft document which addresses these issues in a cogent manner
- Lead teams to execute strategic transactions, in conjunction with other product teams (MA, Leverage Financing etc.). Responsibilities include:
(i) Financial modelling
(ii) Presentation materials
(iii) Due diligence coordination
(iv) Structuring negotiation
- Provide ad hoc Metals Mining industry support to other departments in the Bank
- Help coach/teach and apportion work amongst ~4 more junior staff members and oversees their work output

Qualifications Skills

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Investment Banking with a global firm
- Significant track record of work in the metals mining sector and/or relevant industry experience
- Ideally working with Asian corporate clients
- Mandarin capability desirable
- Highly motivated individuals w a strong record of achievement in academics and/or full time employment in corporate finance
- Candidates should have a Bachelors/Masters/CPA degree from a good university with good grades in the top 10 percentile.
- Superior analytical aptitude, creative problem solving abilities excellent communications skills
