Associate Director, Trade and Supply Chain Finance Sales WA, GTS, WIB
Westpac Institutional Bank's Trade Finance business is part of our Global Transactional Services business. Our Trade Finance team support domestic and international trading needs, offering traditional and structured trade and supply chain solutions.
We are seeking to appoint an Associate Director, Trade Sales to our Trade Finance team in Perth. This is a new role that has arisen as a result of increased customer activity.
Reporting to the Director, Trade Sales WA you will have responsibilities for both developing new business and managing existing trade customer relationships in our Corporate Banking and Large Corporates segments. You will have the scope to develop your own marketing plan that you will execute.
This is a highly collaborative style of role, you will partner with WIB Relationship Managers and Business Development Managers to champion your product line and assist them in educating customers, and you will also have reciprocal arrangements for identifying and referring opportunities. You will also work closely with industry analysts regarding detailed industry analysis and assistance with credit submissions; you will also liaise regularly with the Trade Finance product team.
You are seasoned corporate banker that brings a demonstrated ability to build relationships, negotiate and advise at the CFO/Treasurer level. You may be a Trade Finance product specialist, or perhaps you are a Relationship Manager with a passion and keen interest in Trade Finance and there is a significant amount of trade activity in your portfolio.
