Associate Global Securities Analyst
Responsibilities:
The Associate Global Securities Analyst will report directly to Columbia's Head of Global Research in support of the firm's Global Research initative. The position will be responsible for compiling and creating thematic research across global security sectors and disseminating that research within Columbia Management and Threadneedle. Incumbent will also work with the Head of Research to publish and disseminate macro economic viewpoints to the broader Columbia and Threadneedle portfolio management teams.
Required Qualifications:
BA/BS in Economics Finance or related field of study
3+ years of analysis experience working with various types of securities for a large Institutional buy side or sell side firm Strong analytical, accounting and statistical analysis skills required
Knowledge of various valuation methodologies
Strong financial modeling proficiency
Proven strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong desire to work in a collegial environment
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or CFA preferred
Experience in global security analysis and or macroeconomic analysis a plus.
