Alexander Ash is currently recruiting for a Business Intelligence (BI) analyst. We are representing a global outsourcer that requires a Business Intelligence (BI) analyst with strong experiences with Business Objects (BO / BI). As a BI Analyst you will take responsibility for the life-cycle of allocated Business Intelligence (BI) applications. The Business Intelligence Specialist role is to strategically design and implement BI software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses. This includes selecting, blueprinting, gathering requirements, designing, and rolling out BI solutions to end users. The Business Intelligence Specialist is also responsible for ensuring high levels of BI availability through support functions and in-depth testing. You will also provides ongoing support and resolution of issues related to Business Intelligence applications, analysing results of investigations and identifying available options for consideration.
The BI analyst will resolves application issues by advising users of Business Intelligence application systems' functionality and constraints, by the resolution of incidents, or by the definition of required enhancements to the systems, liaising with third parties or application providers to resolve incidents and changes. Undertakes specialist roles within the lifecycle of applications management for applications within the portfolio and provides specialist BI support and data management services for central data repositories and major corporate systems.
This is a London based contract position initially for 6 month with possible extention paying a day £320 p/d.
