Boutique seeks German Fluent M&A Analyst recruitment

Firm Description:

Our client is an independent corporate finance advisory firm focusing on clients across Europe. The firm takes a generalist approach across industries but has developed significant expertise in the Telecoms, Media and Technology (TMT), Retail, Industrial and Consumer (RIC) and Renewable/Clean Tech sectors. The firm works with key players in these industries as well as the private equity, venture capital and hedge fund communities. Its core focus regarding deal size is on transactions ranging between £50-£300 million.

The client’s professionals have successfully completed well over 100 MA, restructuring and corporate finance transactions for over $50 billion in value and various advisory assignments in over 15 main European countries, as well as in the US and Asia.

The team is relatively lean in size. They are supported by a board of senior advisors with expertise in varying fields. The firm has a non-hierarchical structure and encourages leadership and original thinking at all levels.

Reason for hiring:

Our client is seeing a solid pipeline through 2012, particularly in the UK, German and Italian markets. They are expecting repeat business from a core group of clients and have found that due to the recent shake-up in Investment Banking they are gaining new clients who are now under-covered by other firms.

Our contact in the team is moving away from leading the ‘engine room’  to concentrate more on origination within the business. As a result the firm is now looking for an experienced Analyst to step in and after a brief evaluation period lead the other juniors within the team on the execution of the valuation and modelling.
