Business Analyst / BA – Windows 7 / Office 2010

Business Analyst required for my Banking client in London to work on their Windows 7 and Office 2010 projects within their Treasury and Risk Programmes.

Candidates will required to:

- Audit, gather and document an inventory of all Treasury Risk applications used within the bank.
- Audit and gather an inventory of all Treasury and Risk EUC components
- Examine and document workflow / use of Office components to assist in migration planning
- Gather specific user / business requirements for templates / plug ins / links or customisation within Office 2010
- Work with technical teams to audit and document workstation performance so that a baseline can be drawn pre and post Windows 7 Office 2010 migration
- Where applications are found to be non compatible with Windows 7, liaise with application vendors to determine what solutions are available to the project for these applications
- Work to define the requirements for the “model office and test environment” and work with technical teams and users to ensure that user testing is completed successfully
- Contribute to the planning, execution and verification of application testing where needed for non Windows 7 compatible applications
- Work with the main Windows 7 Office 2010 Projects

Candidates will need the following experience:

- Over 5 years Experience of working in Business Analysis in Banking and Finance.
- Good technical skills around Windows 7 and Office 2010 migrations, with recent experience within financial / trading environments
- Strong Business Knowledge on the following areas

- Application Knowledge

*Excel
*Access
*Progress Apama
*Bloomberg
*LANDesk
*Lakeside Systrack
*Citrix Application DNA
*Microsoft Converter Technology Office Converter
