My client is an award winning highly successful financial services consultancy with an excellent reputation across both buy sell side trading firms.
Due to continued success and company growth they have need for an experienced Business Analyst to join the London consulting practice selling consultancy services delivering projects into top-tier, global financial services firms including investment banks, asset managers insurance firms.
As the appointed Lead Business Analyst, you will be:
- Engaging with front-office users of OMS / EMS / Trading Portfolio Management Systems (including but not limited to ThinkFolio, Fidessa, Cadis, Charles River CRD, Athena etc)
- Gathering business technical requirements from key stakeholders
- Producing business process diagrams documentation
- Build client proposals for consultancy services system upgrades implementations
- Reviewing, analysing and re-designing Business Process Workflows
- Transforming business requirements into workflow diagrams
To be considered for this exceptional, challenging rewarding Business Analyst role, you must have:
- Experience in Business Analysis surrounding investment banking, consultancy or other Financial Services
- A deep understanding of investment banking, asset management, investment managers or other trading environments (e.g. commodity trading, insurance)
- Detailed experience in gathering business technical requirements from key stakeholders
- Knowledge of trade lifecycles risk / risk management
- The desire to join a fast moving consultancy that will offer you exposure to a variety of industry leading buy-side firms 3rd party systems
- Exceptional communication skills and consulting ability - this is a role that will exist heavily in the front-office trading environment so clear communication between business IT is essential
- Detailed experience across OMS / EMS / Front Office Trading environments - ideally in multi-asset class trading firms (Equities, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Property, Interest Rates, Bonds, Securities, Loans, Indices etc)
You will be a highly motivated self-started, able to autonomously manage your own workload and consistently deliver to an exceptional standard. Your previous experience will have given you client facing experience from across the financial services industry and will have given you fantastic communication skills and an ability to work with both business and IT personnel.
