A multi-award winning financial services organistion is looking for a Business Analyst, specifically surrounding Reference Data to work with the Global Head of Data, to understand the requirements from Operations and translate into specifications for system design and modifications. The Business Analyst will be looking at all Reference data types, (client, instrument, calendars, routing rules etc) and using UML for appropriate documentation.
This is an immediate need for a 12 month contract to play a central role in the management of reference data within the organisation. You will analyse the current state and capability of systems, while performing an audit of the current IT framework for housing and transmitting reference data. Defining what best process looks like in conjunction with the Global Head, you will perform a gap analysis between the current situation and what future requirements should be.
To be considered for the role of Business Analyst, Data Management, UML, Reference Data, Contract, experience in the following is essential:
* 5 years business analysis experience working with reference data
* 5 years requirements documentation experience - using UML
* Understanding of e-commerce
* Able to contribute at all stages of the SDLC, especially testing stages
* Think strategically and help define the strategic data management roadmap
* Excellent communication skills
